A Perfectly Grilled Steak with Garlic Herb Sauce
Recipe: Grilled Steak with Garlic Herb Sauce
Ingredients:
2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (or any favorite herb)
1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves (or other herbs as desired)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Zest of 1 lemon
1 cup broccolini, blanched
1 cup roasted vegetables (like carrots and zucchini)
Instructions:
Prepare the Steak:
Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium-high heat.
Grill the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest.
Make the Garlic Herb Sauce:
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
Stir in the chopped parsley, thyme, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Remove from heat.
Serve:
Plate the grilled steak and drizzle generously with the garlic herb sauce.
Arrange the blanched broccolini and roasted vegetables alongside.
Garnish with additional herbs if desired.
